Non-global logarithms

In perturbative quantum chromodynamics, non-global logarithms are a particular class of logarithmically enhanced higher-order corrections.[1] Non-global means that the corrections are sensitive to radiation that falls in only a part of the available phase space. This occurs for instance in some event shape variables. Another example are resummation terms associated with partons that are radiated out of a jet and then themselves radiate back into it.
