Exclusive means...

Theoretical calculations of exclusive processes are often more difficult than of inclusive ones.

Experimental and theoretical view

What is considered exclusive from an experimental point of view is often not theoretically exclusive, because of detector limitations.

Thus most "exclusive" measurements are to some degree implicitly inclusive, which may or may not matter for experiment-theory comparisons in practice. It is always important to bear in mind that true exclusivity is almost impossible to achieve in experiments.
